BELLEVUE ARTS MUSEUM NOW OPEN FOR PRIVATE EVENTS AND ANNOUNCES HOLIDAY ARTS FAIR

Bellevue, WA— September 19, 2024 — Following the recent closure of public exhibitions, Bellevue Arts Museum (BAM) is excited to announce that the museum remains open for private events, including holiday parties, weddings, and corporate gatherings.

BAM’s iconic architecture offers unique and beautiful interior spaces and galleries perfect for hosting private events of varying sizes.  The museum’s central position and access to parking makes it an ideal venue for companies, families, and groups looking for a festive and elevated place to host their gatherings.

BAM is thrilled to introduce the first ever BAM Holiday Arts Fair, a special indoor version of the legendary Bellevue Arts Fair.   The Holiday Arts Fair will be from November 30th-December 24th and will be open from 4:00p- 8:00pm on Thursday- Sunday.   This event will provide a wonderful opportunity for visitors to discover and purchase unique, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, supporting local artists in the process.

“Hosting a Holiday Arts Fair is an amazing way to honor our legacy and to engage with the festivities of Snowflake Lane; a time when Bellevue Way is flooded with families and merriment and is likely the busiest thoroughfare in the entire Northwest,” says Kate Casprowiak Scher, Executive Director of BAM.  “I am thrilled we will be taking part in the joy of the season in a way that aligns with our mission and connects original arts and crafts to holiday shoppers who seek meaningful and unique gifts.  In addition, the festive atmosphere will provide a place for the community to gather and celebrate the season.”

BAM is also offering exclusive group reservations to view Snowflake Lane from the museum’s northeast balcony.  This balcony overlooks the intersection of Bellevue Way and 6th street (where the floats line up); it is truly the best view in town.   On nights with no bookings BAM will be selling single tickets for balcony viewing inside at the Holiday Arts Fair.

“We may have paused our exhibitions, but BAM is far from closed. Our unique venue is the perfect place to host holiday events, from company parties to family gatherings,” says Scher. “We are excited to bring the community back into the building in new ways, while supporting local artists and continuing to serve as a cultural cornerstone in Bellevue. Furthermore, all these efforts support our reinvention, so please participate and support the museum and our community of artists during this time.”

BAM invites the community to book private events, reserve private Snowflake Lane viewing reservations, and visit the Holiday Arts Fair. For more information on how to reserve space for your next event or to participate as a vendor in the Holiday Arts Fair, please visit our website Bellevue Arts Museum
